It’s been so long since my last post; sorry everybody! I’ve been feeling pretty dreadful lately, tired and run down but I feel much better now. Thank you to all my dear friends who encourage me so much, even when they don’t realise it! Sin and lawlessness is on my mind quite a bit at [...]

Psalm 111 – CJB 1 Halleluyah! I will wholeheartedly give thanks to ADONAI in the council of the upright and in the assembly. 2 The deeds of ADONAI are great, greatly desired by all who enjoy them. 3 His work is full of majesty and splendor, and his righteousness continues forever. 4 He has gained [...]

Psalm 116 (New International Version) 1 I love the LORD, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. 2 Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live. 3 The cords of death entangled me, the anguish of the grave came upon me; I [...]

Ugh, just found out that some kids that attend our church’s after-school clubs (but attend services at another church) aren’t coming to our light party because they are off trick-or-treating. Please pray for all kids that our church comes into contact with, that they would turn to LIGHT, not darkness!

Matthew 21:9 (New International Version – UK) 9 The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted, Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest! Maybe it’s because this word has been featured heavily (with good reason I hasten [...]

This week has been a very interesting one for me. This post of Paulina’s has really made me sit up and think, and make me commit to learn more about the Torah. To clarify, I was never an anti-Torah person, I just didn’t know or understand as much as others did, and some things about [...]

Listen to advice and accept instruction, and in the end you will be wise. Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails. Proverbs 19:20-21 – New International Version (UK) A short verse this week, but a nonetheless very wise one. ‘Many are the plans in a man’s [...]

I have lately been having trouble with non-Christian girls on a forum. Generally religion doesn’t get brought up but when it does, most people are very respectful. However recently the subject of family life got brought up and most of them objected very strongly (there were some choice words used!) to my belief that the [...]
